Keyboard Magazine, never one to really embrace anything past Herbie Hancock or Jan Hammer, published this story by Bob Dorochuck exposing and exploring the current wave of underground synth bands. For a 14 year old New Wave fanatic like myself this article pointed me in the direction of bands it would have otherwise taken me much longer to find out about. It's a nostalgic look back to a time when music still had the power to make people scratch their heads and wonder "what the hell are they thinking?"
